The Twilight Saga hit it big at the MTV awards held on June 6th, 2010. New Moon snagged the trophy for Best Movie. Kristen Stewart won for Best Female Performance and Robert Pattinson for Best Male Performance and together they took the Best Kiss award for the New Moon film. Robert Pattinson also received MTV’s “golden popcorn” for Global Superstar.
Anna Kendrick, who plays Jessica in the Twilight Saga, was Best Breakout Star winner for her role in Up in the Air.

Happy birthday to Kristen Stewart! Kristen, whose role as Bella Swan skyrocketed her to superstar status, turns 20 years old today. That means half of her life has been spent in the entertainment industry as this year marks Kristen’s 10th year in the business–and what a year it’s been! With The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on the horizon and The Runaways just behind her, Kristen’s calendar is only getting busier.
Remember Me with Robert Pattinson fell to 10th place in gross box office revenues this past weekend, which was only the second weekend of the film’s run. The Runaways with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning was a distant 18th in revenues, although the movie was only in limited release.
For the second night in a row Dakota Fanning visited Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Dakota had been there the night before to support her friend Kristen Stewart who was guest on the show. In her interview Dakota talked about performing her own vocals for The Runaways and schooled Jimmy on how to do the microphone swing made famous by Cherie Currie.
Kristen Stewart made a brief appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in a shiny tan minidress. Kristen discussed her pre-movie guitar-playing experience as having “noodled, fiddled, plucked” before filming The Runaways. Jimmy showed a clip from the film of Kristen singing “I love playing with fire”.
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon will host Kristen Stewart on Tuesday, March 16th, and Dakota Fanning on Wednesday, March 17th. The Twilight Saga pair are promoting The Runaways which opens this Friday, March 19th.
Kristen Stewart wore a black minidress for her appearance on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show. She talked to Jay about her recent visit to England for the BAFTA awards, her role in the movie Panic Room and her throat-clearing moment at the Oscars. Kristen told Leno she wears her heart on her sleeve and is incapable of acting when she’s not, well, acting. As for The Runaways, Kristen said she spent three weeks with rocker Joan Jett learning her postures and tics. Jay then played a clip from the new film where Kristen sings “I love playing with fire”.
Dakota Fanning will take her turn on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Friday, March 12th. Dakota stars as Cherie Currie in The Runaways alongside Kristen Stewart. Dakota is known to Twilight fans for her portrayal of Jane in the New Moon and Eclipse movies.
