The Twilight Saga hit it big at the MTV awards held on June 6th, 2010. New Moon snagged the trophy for Best Movie. Kristen Stewart won for Best Female Performance and Robert Pattinson for Best Male Performance and together they took the Best Kiss award for the New Moon film. Robert Pattinson also received MTV’s “golden popcorn” for Global Superstar.
Anna Kendrick, who plays Jessica in the Twilight Saga, was Best Breakout Star winner for her role in Up in the Air.
Robert Pattinson celebrates his 24th birthday today. In just over a month Robert will be back on the big screen as Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

That means half of her life has been spent in the entertainment industry as this year marks Kristen’s 10th year in the business–and what a year it’s been! Books for the musically inclined or religiously interested Twilight fan will go on sale this Thursday, April 1st.
An instrumental play-along paperback and CD combo will provide fifteen songs from The Twilight Saga: New Moon which have been “arranged for solo instrumentalists”. Editions can be found for the flute, clarinet, horn, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, cello, tenor sax and alto sax and are produced by the Hal Leonard Corporation.
Also hitting the shelves this April 1st is “From Twilight to Breaking Dawn: Religious Themes in the Twilight Saga” by Sandra L. Gravett.
The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards were held Saturday, March 27th, at UCLA campus in California. Taylor Lautner won the award for Favorite Movie Actor, beating out Zac Efron, Shia LeBouf and Tyler Perry. New Moon characters Jacob and Bella won the Kids Choice award for Favorite Cutest Couple over characters Edward and Bella. The Twilight Saga: New Moon lost out to Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel for Favorite Movie and The Twilight Series lost the award for Favorite Book to Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Summit Entertainment, the force behind the Twilight Saga movies, claims that four million DVD and Blu-Ray copies were sold this past weekend. The New Moon DVD came out Saturday, March 20th, and was celebrated by Twilight fans at midnight release parties everywhere.
